Excellent site. Thought you might find some use for the following link: http://www.britishpremiersoccer.com/stoke.html It contains individually tailored news links for Stoke (though I am still waiting for some media sites to get up to date and should be complete soon). It is also advertisement free and also links back to your site through the 'Supporters Links' section. Cheers!

Nice site Stokie - A fair match report for the game yesterday ( from a Stokie view point!! )though thought you were lucky to get all 3 points and we deserved at least a draw especially in the 2nd half- though I understand you had a weakened team out - the young lad on the left of midfield ( Commons ? )looks a good prospect. All the best for the rest of the season, though can't see you threatening either end of the table come May

From: Preston Old boy

Just visiting - cracking game on Saturday, though agree with your report we murdered you in the first half and how we didn't score more I'll never know, but second half thought we'd chucked it away.....and then yes...such relief. Had some REAL GREATS playing for you in the past, just as we did Liked the site and your attitude to football, keep spreading the word of your team, but keeping it fair

Posted message on "Oatcake" site asking for suitable pub for pre match drink and watching City/Utd game. Several Stokies suggested Power Lge - its a decent pub, loadsa TV screens and no aggro tho i had no colours on. No trouble at the game & i thought we played well 1st half and deserved our 2 goals. Stupid pen. to give away so made things needlessly difficult. Happily we defended well and got deserved win. At BP head for Leaking Boot on Grimsby Rd, heading from ground towards Cleethorpes rather than Grimsby. Safe drink for away fans!

Found my way here from a link on a posting on our (Pompey) Rivals site. If all your match reports are as fair (indeed, flattering to the opposition as we were not good yesterday) as today's, this is a site worth visiting by fans of all clubs.

I'll also try to redesign the guestbook to include a field for peoples web sites to be included - though please bare with me, it took a lot of sweat getting it running in the first place and don't want to mess it up. Scouse Agree with your ' restrained' views over the ban for the Millwall game - 20 odd years without missing isn't it, two stabbings,( Padova, despite your smiles we know we nearly lost you )and several other beatings and close calls that I know of....... Remember you flying to Gillingham for the league cup game...just so you wouldn't miss and the hundreds of friendlies you've been too ( more than most people have been league games ! )...the games in Norway when you were the only Stokie there and now this....respect,your numero uno Stokie

Shame about your ban from the New Den - made the trip up at your place and well looked after by some stokies I know.Anybody coming down,if so watch out for the youth, but plenty of Wall and the old school will give you respect and leave you be so long as you don't come giving it the large one, sure you know the score, stay safe

Scouse : great site ,your editorial on Millwall.. ..real as ever, the Stokies on the Oatcake' board just don't seem to represent or understand the 'old school' anymore and the youngsters haven't got a clue what being one of a handful away from home is all about or like ,they've never experienced it and when they got the chance they chickened out. You live miles from Stoke yet in many peoples eyes you're still the number one Stokie.Respect

What are our propects next season, if(when)we stay up? Could you ever see us coming up against Liverpool and Everton? When will someone realise the clubs potential and put some money into us! Anybody out there got any thoughts on young Kris Commons and Hoekstra. Hoekstra does not get enough credit and can both play in the same team next year? What are our chances of signing 'Big Dunc', he'll bag 25 goals off Hoekstra's crossing next year in the 1st division and get us promoted! Come on Everton, loan him out!
