The Club have announced that it has beaten its target season ticket sales of 7000, with sales of over 7400 when the early bird discount period ended. Commenting on this success, Chief Executive Tony Scholes said:" A combination of success on the pitch and the great value ticket has lead to a fantastic response from supporters. “We set ourselves a target of 7000 early-bird tickets. I’m delighted that we smashed through this hitting sales of 7400.” The sales of 7400 represent a 16% increase of 1100 season tickets over sales of 6300 at the same point last year. The Club expect to sell even more season tickets before next season begins; although the early-bird discount period has now ended season tickets will go back on sale on Thursday at new prices which will be announced tomorrow. These prices will remain in place until Saturday 26th May.
