Keeper Blow To Wolves Hopes

Wolves suffered a major blow to their promotion aspirations when goalkeeper Matt Murray was ruled out of the Championship play-off clashes against Midlands rivals West Bromwich Albion, after breaking his shoulder in training.

Diomansy Kamara struck the winner as West Brom took a narrow 3-2 lead into the 2nd leg in a  pulsating game black country derby.

Kevin Phillips's 20-yard strike after a poor clearance from Breen had put WBA ahead against the run of play ,  before Jody Craddock equalised for Wolves with a header on the stroke of half time.

Seyi Olofinjana bundled the ball home early in the second half to give Wolves the lead , but West Brom hit back immediately with a far-post header from Phillips.

Before Kamara struck to earn West Brom a priceless lead.
